Greetings in the name of St. Thomas Aquinas!

UST Hiraya is the first university-wide Intersectional Feminist organization recognized by the University
of Santo Tomas. We advocate Intersectional Feminism, Mental Health Awareness, Anti-Violence Against
Women, and Gender Equity, and also provide a safe space for students in the university. We promote
progressive values and raise awareness on relevant issues through events, activities and fora.

As the first organization in our university that represents the women of the Thomasian community,
we would like to humbly ask for your organization’s support by establishing a partnership with
your good office in our series of events to celebrate Women's Week on March 5-8, 2018, namely:

1. Project Tangled: Share Your Hair Drive

(March 5-7, 2018 UST TYK Lobby 10AM-5PM)

2. Hiraya Talks: Feminism

(March 5, 2018 UST TYK AVR 12-4:30PM)

3. Grit&Grace: Self Defense Workshop

(March 6, 2017 UST TYK Audi 9-12PM)

4. Kababaihan Kulturang Pelikula

(March 6, 2018 UST TYK Audi 1-8PM)

5. Boss Babe: Women Empowerment Symposium

(March 7, 2018 UST TYK Audi 10AM-5PM)

6. Walk For Her: UST Hiraya International Women's Day Parade and Concert

(March 8, 2018 UST Grandstand and Parade Grounds 3-10PM)

We are requesting for at least 10 participants from your organization/student council to attend our
events. In return, your organization will not only contribute to ensuring the safety and empowerment
of the women of the Thomasian community, but will also gain exposure and recognition through our
publicity materials and certificates.

Kindly confirm your participation on or before Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 6PM. Upon
confirmation, kindly e-mail us your organization’s logo so we may include it on our publicity materials
to be launched on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 8PM.
