CHUKWUNWEIKE KIDCHUKWU

Kido is a graduate of Engineering from the University of Lagos in 2006, he earned a Masters
Degree at Heriot Watt University in 2011 where he studied Logistics and Supply Chain
Management. He interned with the International Trade Centre Geneva in 2009, where he
worked on 2 major Agriculture Value Chain Projects – Trade in Hands and the SADC fruit and
vegetable value chain. This experience was the beginning of his foray into the Agriculture
Value Chain in Nigeria. Since then he has spent years researched and identified ways to
improve the Agriculture Value Chain using Technology. Kido is a co-founder at Dillish Instant
Foods, a food storage and processing company; he has also worked in the capacity of a
Transport and Marketing for Kembos Group of Schools for over 6 years.

ABUBAKAR RHEMA NASIRU
Rhemais a graduate of pure Chemistyfrom Ahmadu Bello University – zaria in 2010 and in
2011 being passionate about Information Technology he enrolled at NIIT kaduna where he
studied Oracle Database Administration Track, in the same year, Rhema enrolled at First
Quantum Info-Tech Ltd where he was trained in Website Design and Development, in 2015
and 2016 he enrolled at New-Horrizon and Cybrary where he studied Microsoft Certified
Solutions Expert and Cybersecurity respectively. Rhema has worked with I.T Gen-solutions
Ltd -Lagos where he doubled as a maintenance engineer and a faculty instructor for over 3
years.He was involved in numerous I.T projects including building, development deploying
and management of variousSolutions such as E-commerce sites, Online Schools, CCTVs etc.
His certifications and experience includes Oracle Database Administration Track 10G & 11G
(SQL, OCA, OCP) Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Website Design &
Development, Comptia A+, Cybersecurity and Python Programming.
Rhema is currently a cofounder at Grain Capitals Ltd as well as a senior partner with
Bytegauge Systems Solutions – an I.T company based in Lagos Nigeria.

KELECHI ODOEMENA

Kelechi is an agricultural economist by academic qualification. He has his Master’s degree

from the University of Ibadan in agricultural economics in 2018 after obtaining his first
degree from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri in 2014. He has had internship
experience at Wapic Insurance in 2012. He has also professional experience as a data
analyst in agriculture as well as manufacturing sector added to his professional
certifications. He is a co-founder at Dillish Instant Foods, a grain storage and processing
company. As an “Agripreneur” he has engaged with various leaders in both agriculture and
entrepreneurship gaining vital experience in start-up operations. He is also a member to
various bodies like the African Association of Agricultural Economists and the Systems
Dynamics Society among others.

 OPERATIONAL STRUCTURE
Graincapitals (known legally as Grain Capital Resources Limited) is registered and
incorporated under the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
with registration number RC 1467028 on the 29th of January 2018 with office on 315,
Herbert Macaulay Way, Sabo, Yaba, Lagos. We are currently legally engaged in value
addition and business activities in the agriculture supply chain.

OUR MISSION
GRAINCAPITALS: To facilitate the much needed capital for profitable investments in the
agriculture value chain through our robust and secure digital platform.

OUR VISION
To be the world’s biggest facilitator of fund for agricultural investment directed to the
improvement of food security in Africa and to a reduction of post-harvest Loss by 90%.

OUR CORE FOCUS

• Provision of a technology solution to tackle the funding gap in agriculture by
facilitating investment in the grain supply chain using our digital platform.
• Promotion of profitable investments in grains value chain by using a secure and well
maintained digital platform accessible on all smart devices.

Note:

 Perpetual activities which include investor relationship activities, digital platform

operations and administrative functions are all-year round.
 Oversight functions include APEL’s core function as Trustees.
 Administrative functions include but are not limited to site/field visit and monitoring,
partner engagement and logistics.
 Digital platform operations include but are not limited to digital platform
maintenance, upgrade, security, digital content development, UI/UX consultation
and digital marketing.
 Investor relationship activities include but are not limited to investor acquisition,
investor update and care service; and investor retention.

FUND ACQUISITION
Graincapital’s action: Marketing, Promotion of Digital platform, perpetual activities.
APEL’s action: active promotion of digital platform to potential investors/clients specifically
as it refers to trust and security of funds as well as collection of funds via a joint account
with Graincapitals

AGGREGATION
Graincapital’s action:(Engage aggregator-partners service and perpetual activities)
APEL’s action:oversight function as well as release funds for aggregators’ service fee.

APEL’saction: oversight function and release of funds for grains purchase
Note: Funds for grain purchase may be requested early on in order to secure best prices.

TRANSPORT-1st LEG
Graincapital’s action:(Facilitate the movement of purchased grains from market to storage
location(s) and perpetual activities).
APEL’s action:oversight function and release of funds for transport fees payable to the
transport firm.
Note: Transport fees may be requested early on in order to secure the services of transport
firms

STORAGE
Graincapital’s action:(warehousing of purchased grains and perpetual activities)
APEL’s action:oversight function and release of funds for warehousing fees.

SALES
Graincapital’s action:(sales of grains directly or through our sales partners and perpetual
activities).
APEL’s action: oversight function, release of sales fees which include commission and
distribution fees payable to our sales partner or as the case maybe any agent (individual or
corporate and can include Graincapitals) taking on the role of a sales partner and receive
payment from grain sales in the joint account (Apel/Graincapitals account).

TRANSPORT 2ND LEG

Graincapital’s action:(Movement of goods from warehouse to buyer’s location and
perpetual activities)
APEL’s action: oversight function and release transport fees payable to our transport
partners

INVESTOR REINBURSEMENT
Graincapital’s action:
Instruct the payment of investor, this may be interest only or interest + capital investment
depending on the investor’s choice.
APEL’s action: oversight function, payment to the investor as and when instructed to do so
by Grain Capital Resources limited.
