An artificial, prosthetic eye with lids may be called an orbital prosthesis. An orbital prosthesis is a removable prosthesis that artificially
restores the eye, eyelids, and surrounding bone and skin lost as a result of trauma or surgery. An orbital prosthesis offers and alternative
to rehabilitation when surgical reconstruction of an orbit can not be achieved.
Prosthetic eyes can be attached either through the use of adhesives or craniofacial implants. Orbital prostheses are made from a medical
grade silicone that is intrinsically colored to match the specific pigmentation of the individual and contains an artificial eye that is made out
of acrylic. While an artificial eye will not blink or move in harmony with the remaining eye, it blends into the face making it look whole once
again.

Auricula Prosthesis or Artificial Ear

An artificial / ear prosthesis restores a portion or the entire outer ear. The auricular prosthesis provides a form of rehabilitation when
surgical reconstruction is not viable or not preferred by the patient.
Ear prosthesis can be attached to the patient either via a skin adhesive or osseointegrated or craniofacial implants.
The artificial ear prosthesis are made of a medical silicone which is coloured to match the natural skin.
