Youth Pastor Mark Googins MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR GILEAD FRIEND’S
3RD ANNUAL FALL HARVEST FESTIVAL. This year’s
festivities will be held on Sunday, October 17th from 2-7pm at
Sunday the properties of Matt & Michelle Mosher, Harvey & Vivian
Mosher, and Harvey and Linnette Mosher. Activities will include
September 19, 2010 a pot luck, campfire, hay rides, kids games and much more.
Please plan on bringing your family for a great evening of food,
fun, and fellowship!!! Bring camping chairs and a covered dish
to share. Table service and drink will be provided.

THE JOY OF GOD’S CALL: Join our EFC-ER Christian
Nursery provided for newborns up to age 2 - Room
Education Overnighter at Camp Gideon on October 8-9. This
101 retreat is a time for you to be taught, motivated, challenged, and
inspired in your personal life first, and then to your ministry
10:30 am WORSHIP leadership role. The cost of the seminar is only $15/per person OR

today. Price is $5. Proceeds help Vessels of Hope fund Missions.
Planet Zero for 1-6th Grade in the Chapel following
dismissal from Worship. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who prayed, worked, encouraged,
gave financially, donated materials and services to make the 10th
anniversary of Missions Camp a success. Every year your support
blesses so many people. Thank you for your faithfulness! ~ Mission
Camp Committee.

HARVEST PARTY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Someone to coordinate decorating. i.e. corn stalks,
pumpkins, bales of hay, gourds, etc. If you are able to
help with this task, please contact the church office at
419-946-1100.
Donations of campfire food. We need refrigerated
biscuits, powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, graham
crackers, marshmallows, Hershey bars. If you would like
to donate some of these items, please contact Matt
Mosher at 740-815-1054
GILEAD CHRISTIAN SCHOOL/GILEAD FRIENDS
CHURCH:
The church/school has a snow blower that is in need of
repair. If you are good with small 4 cycle engines, and
would be willing to check this unit out to see what it would
take to repair it, or have a snow blower that you would
like to donate, please contact the church office.
VIOLA MAE RAWSON SCHOLARSHIP FUND - Applications
for the 2010-2011 school year are available at the Welcome
Center. This application, for any college student (but
specifically geared toward freshman going to Malone
University) must be submitted to the church office by Sunday,
September 30, 2008. Details are on the back of the form.
VESSELS OF HOPE is planning to send a team to Jamaica in
early February. They are currently trying to gauge interest. If
this sounds like something you would like to do, please call
Karen Retterer at 740-389-1944. Applications will be open until
Mid-October.
FRIENDS ADULT MINISTRIES 15TH ANNUAL FALL
RETREAT will be held October 21st from 11a-3:30p at The
Amish Door in Wilmot, Ohio. Dr. John P. Williams will be
speaking on Life Before Death. Special musical entertainment
is Tim & Mary Alice Lovelace. Cost for the event is $25.
