KEYNOTE SPEAKERS PROFILES

Dr.Kyung-tae KIM is an Emeritus professor in the department of

Information and Communication Engineering, Hannam University, Daejeon, South Korea.
He will be the international Keynote Speaker of Innovations in Electronics and
Communications Engineering, ICIECE-2018. Having completed Doctor of Engineering in the
Department of Electric and Communications, Tohoku University, Japan, Dr.Kyung-tae KIM
has a wonderful research experience in the fields of Speech and Audio Processing, Image and 3
dimensional Image Processing. He was a former visiting scientist to RI, Carnegie Mellon
University, Pittsburgh, USA and NICT Japan He will be speaking on “4 th Industrial Revolution
and 5G”

Professor S K Nandy is a professor in the department of Computer Science

Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. His Research interests include
Dynamically Reconfigurable Architectures, Dataflow and Multithreaded Computing,
Virtualizations, Pervasive Computing, SoC Design Methodologies. Prof. S K Nandy was
instrumental in initializing research in LSI System Design at the Indian Institute of Science.
He worked at setting up a state-of-the-art laboratory for Computer aided design in 1983
with the help of United Nations of Development Programme and Government of India. Prof
Nandy is the founder of Morphing machines set up in partnership with Indian Institute of
Science
