To Whom It May Concern,

I would like to recommend Abril Alejandra Vargas. Abril is a highly

capable student who excels in her studies. She is highly motivated and has
been successful at Century during her time here. Abril is extremely
organized and self-motivated. Her dedication to her work has earned her
high marks and enabled her to take advanced courses. I have had the
privilege to teach Abril in Biology class. She consistently produces excellent
work that exceeds many of the criteria set forth for her. Many students do
the bare-minimum on assignments and projects, but Abril is known for going
beyond the set requirements.
Abril has been a member of AVID and a member of Century’s Trio
program. She is also member of NHS. She is able to be involved while
maintaining a 3.62 GPA. Abril enjoys school leadership and volunteering.
She is an active member of her community where she gets the opportunity to
help others. She has helped out at the Hillsboro Pediatric Center, Kaiser and
Providence.
To conclude, Abril has been actively involved in her education and
extracurricular activities here at Century. She looks for opportunities to
become more in tune with her school. She participates in many activities that
require balancing extracurricular with her academic life. She will be a
highly successful student at the next level, and I predict her to be life-long
learner.
