Drive Chucks
Just like the Firestick® drill rod, Vermeer drive chucks are manufactured with a
rigorous quality assurance process. Forged from durable Vermeer-specified alloy
steel, these drive chucks carry increased strength at the flange, as opposed to

Low Profile Hex Connection

The Vermeer low profile hex connection sets the industry standard. This Vermeer
original design was created with a unique machining process that heat-treats
Vermeer-specified alloy steel and machines it to Vermeer tolerances. It also
undergoes a unique broaching process to create consistent flats. Each piece goes
through a 100 percent thread inspection process. Optional Shark Teeth® also
reduce premature wear to the collar.
Large dual lands are designed

to transfer bending loads away
from the thread profile.
QuickFire™ Connection
The QuickFire connection system is a Vermeer original design that’s born from the
same innovation that created our industry-leading Firestick® drill rod. The QuickFire
connection is manufactured from high-alloy material, machined to exacting
tolerances and subjected to an industry-unique heat-treatment process for
durability and reliability. Available in multiple sizes for drilling rigs rated up to 5000
ft-lb (6779.1 Nm) of torque. On the jobsite, you’ll appreciate the coarse and tapered
thread profile allowing four-turn makeup. It also features an eight-sided collar to
make flat alignment easier to handle.

The Vermeer universal transmitter housing is compatible with 15" (38.1 cm)
and 19" (48.3 cm) transmitters (all acceptable for wireline). It also carries a
replaceable rear sub and threaded front for virtually limitless adaptability,
including the Armor™ Drilling System and mud motors. The versatility of this
tool also qualifies it for a range of projects, from standard bores to sensitive
on-grade sewer work.

DRILL BITS
Vermeer drill bits are, in a word, tough. They start
with Vermeer-specified high-alloy, heat-treated
steel to resist wear and add durability. Each bit is
designed to meet the exacting tolerance for Vermeer
HDDs to maintain peak performance.
Standard
Performance is standard with this bit. It includes a quick-shot hole and is an
economical solution for softer soil conditions such as loam, black dirt and
sandy loam.
Chevron
A Vermeer original, the Vermeer chevron bit carries an imposing split-faced design.
High-quality tungsten carbide inserts also offer cutting relief to effectively penetrate
hard-packed ground. Compatible with most conditions, especially packed clay,
hard pan and caliche.

The Vermeer insertion cover is intended for use with the Vermeer geothermal
loop push tool. It remains downhole once the correct depth is reached. And it
features a coned design that helps protect the loop from damage during
