AIMC-2018-Poster Presentation Instructions
The AIC 2017 poster presentation should follow the instructions given below to be qualifying for the
best poster presentation award.
General Rules:
1. The work presented by the researcher should be the author’s original work.
2. Only the posters presented at the AIC 2017 conference will qualify for the competition.
3. The posters template should follow all the guidelines given below.
5. The full paper review is done independently and the full paper acceptance or rejection does not
depend on the type (oral or poster) of presentation.
POSTER TEMPLATE:
The poster presentation should stimulate a discussion and the text usage should be minimized and
more emphasis should be given for the graphics.
1. ABSTRACT - should have a brief summary of the research (objective, method, findings, and
conclusion)
2. POSTER TITLE – The poster should have the title in a prominent text format.
2. INTRODUCTION - This section should include the background of the study, problem statement,
the purpose of the study and the objective of your research.
3. METHODS – this section should describe the methodology used for your study
4. RESULTS – this section should give the results of the study. Focus more on the graphical/visual
presentation and highlight only the important results.
5. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION – this section should discuss your findings briefly and give a
short conclusion about your research
POSTER DESIGN:
2. Fonts – Your poster should be easily read from a distance of 4 ft. Use contrasting fonts for the title,
text and figure legends. (e.g. – Times for the text, and Arial for the title and figure legends)
Title: 90 – 95 pt.
Text: 28 – 36 pt.
Note: Authors need to bring their poster along with them as per
aforementioned dimensions. Organizers will not provide any printing
facility at the venue.
Evaluation criteria

Explanation of the research (should cover all the content given in the template)
Suitable choice of words and visuals to explain the research work
2. Audience engagement
3. Communication skill:
