SECURITIES ANN INVESTMENT LAW


Objective of Study: Through this course we can learn how Securities and Investment Law,
Rules and Regulations under Domestic and Foreign Jurisdictions have an impact on investment
decision both in terms of Foreign Investors Investing in India and Domestic Investors Investing
Abroad. Further the type of economy where investment is taking place and the economy from
where investors are coming also have major impact on investment and contributing to
development of country.

SYLLABUS:
CHAPTER-1 Investment
 Meaning of the term investment– International and National
 Various Kinds and modes of Investment.
 Comparison between various investing instruments, analysing their Advantages and
Disadvantages.

CHAPTER-2 Securities
 Meaning of the term Securities
 Various Kinds of Securities.
 Comparison between carious securities, evaluating their pros and cons

CHAPTER-3 Existing Laws and Regulations Relating to Investment and Securities


 Analysing various Investment and Securities Acts Enacted by legislature.
 Analysing existing rules and latest notification by Government under such acts.
 Analysing role of various authorities and their functioning in enforcement and
supervision of above acts.
