I am currently a student at Shippensburg University who is majoring in Communication/Journalism with

an emphasis in Electronic Media. I am looking for an internship in the radio industry (More specifically
sports radio). I would like to gain additional experience in this field.

Education

• Bachelor of Communication/Journalism with an emphasis in Electronic Media. Expected

graduation year: 2019.
• One of the co-hosts on our sports show, “The Kitchen Sink,” Shippensburg University’s Radio
Station (WSYC).

• This has helped me learn a great deal of information on how to be a great radio show host.
• Involves talking about sports topics involved but not limited to the NFL, NBA, MLB, and various
college sports.
SUTV (Shippensburg University’s TV Station)
February 2018-Present

• I have had the opportunity to help with adjusting the camera to film the news anchors while
they are on air.
• Helped run commercials during the men’s and women’s basketball games against Bloomsburg
on 2/25.
• Helped conduct an interview with another fellow student on a student-athlete at Shippensburg.
Work Experience

Insurance Internship, May 2016-August 2016

• Became more familiar with the insurance industry and the daily general operations of the
business.
• Spent time in each department while being monitored by the department heads in the business.
These departments included commercial lines, personal lines, life and health, claims and
underwriting.
• Communicated with customers in person, on the phone, and electronically about their insurance
information.
• Prepared and updated Excel Spreadsheets for the marketing department.
