PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Century High School's Counseling Program
is focused on providing services to meet our
students’ needs. There is a strong emphasis
on climate and safety when servicing
students. The counseling team provides
social/emotional, higher education, and
career and technical education counseling.  
Together, the counselors, higher education
coordinator, therapist, and psychologist
Dr. Jonathan positively change lives and help our
Swanson students plan for a successful and bright
future.

Core Curriculum:
9th Grade:  Present California College
Guidance Initiative information to
connect  academic and career interests.  The school counseling
program coordinates
10th Grade:  Provide students with Stress Busters, a small
socio/emotional presentations emphasizing group intervention
emotional health, bullying prevention , and program, to help students
stress reduction. reduce their levels of
stress. 
11th Grade: Present to students on necessary
steps to achieve college/career goals. 
12th Grade:  Provide student financial aid
and college application information.
