STUDY PLAN

My name is Taufiquddin Ande. I am 49 years old. I am a very practical, realistic, and a

matter-of-fact person. When it comes to making decisions I like to look at things logically. I am
the person who value tradition and loyalty.

I like to maintain organization. I like to be involved in social organization and I have the
ability to handle details and to work hard.

My goals and objectives in life

My short term objective now is to pursue my Master Degree at Sun Yat Sen University in
College of Management. I would like to be able to utilize my existing knowledge and future
training in a team-oriented profession.

My long-term goals are to dedicate my time to support the educational and research area
for the growth of my country

I hope for long future I can continuously share my experiences at the university. I like to
serve others

My educational and career background

I grew up I Jakarta and soon after my senior high school I went to university in Makassar.
I took an education in Australia for 3 years and back to Indonesia to assist my family company in
Umroh, Hajj travel business of Tiga Utama and clinic business when we got a financial crisis in
1998. My family business was turn down because of the financial crisis and my father asked me
to assist the business. Our big concern at the time is the employer. We had 1.350 staffs and I
need to take responsibility not to cut off the staff. I deal with human recources matter. I was
success to maintain the business and didvided in to three Business unit strategy. Starting from
this case, I learn a lot in organizing the business and continue my career.

My research Interests

My main research interests are Business development issues. I hope to be able to explore
these issues further to expand my knowledge on these subjects.

The most inspirational people in my life

I respect my father as a parent good model and as my supervisor in company when I was
in new starting career. My father as a businessman has already dedicated all his life for his
company and his people.

I trust that my real experiences in Business management could be more bright by

attending the study in College of management in National Sun Yat Sen University. I will
dedicate my time to contribute to research in Business areas.
