Students will gather from all corners of campus to get some freebies and find out who
their new leadership will be for the preceding year. Students who show up early will receive a
tank top and water bottle.
The Union Underground is viewable from the top floor of the union outside of the corner
store. Members of the media will be wearing badges and will be permitted to take photographs
the whole event.

What? — Student election winner and announcement, also multiple giveaways to be handed out
at announcement event.

Who — Students running for student body president and vice president
Two Tickets; Zac Surritt and Jim Henry, Jack Siebert and Sydney Fox
Washburn University President Jerry Farley
Speeches will occur on a stage where you have a view from seating in front of stage.

Where — Washburn University Memorial Union - Union Underground, Topeka, Kansas

Aerial view of where the event will be is accessible through the opening looking
down. A view of the memorial union building is best at the East side of the building.

Why — Students run for these positions each year and the association wants to increase the
number of people who attend the announcement event.
