Introduction (warmer activity + teacher active engagement)


Time: 15 min

The teacher will ask students if they’re ready for the lesson, then engage them with a song.

Students will try to sing along


The teacher will memorize Pat- cat- mat- bat- rat- hat and have the students sound them out from
the ppt, which is followed by a circle the words on board activity.

The teacher will then name each table as an “at” sound and the group that reads their at sound
on the ppt must stand up all together and say the word and will sit down when they see another
groups sound.
