    This pilot study tested the effects of adding plastic waste at levels of 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% as a replacement for cement aggregate on the compression and tensile strengths of concrete mixtures. The results showed that replacing cement aggregate with 5% plastic waste increased both the 7-day compression and tensile strengths compared to the normal concrete mixture. However, using 10% or 15% plastic waste replacements resulted in lower strengths compared to the normal concrete.
