INSTRUCTIONS:
1. You need to work in this assignment in pair from the same class.
2. You are asked to answer the questions and solve the case by using Odoo.
3. To start using Odoo, go to https://demo.odoo.com/ or https://demo3.odoo.com/web
4. Disclaimer: Odoo demo cannot save your data. The data will be cleaned every time you
close the website. Therefore, you need to be extremely careful when working of this
assignment. Do not forget to print screen your step since it cannot be retrieved.
5. You need to submit your report before Friday, 4 May 2018 23.55 via SceLe

QUESTIONS:
As an IT Company, NEC Global has embraced technology as a tool to maximize its marketing and sales
process by using Odoo (https://demo.odoo.com/), a customer relationship management (CRM)
system. Thus, you are asked to:
1. [20 pts] Create and explain the flowchart of each process and party which are involved in the
case study above! (Swimlane).
2. [60pts] Execute the case study in Odoo and provide the evidence by capturing the print screen
of every step that you have been done.
3. [20pts] Identify and explain the related functions in Odoo which are needed for solving the
case study!

NEC Global Case Study
NEC Global is an Indonesian-based information and communications technology business solution
provider. It was established on October 15th 2017 by an IT enthusiast named Christopher Wattimena.
It offers various IT based service, starting from consulting services, network integrations, software
products, enterprise project managements, and data center operations.

As a new company, NEC Global needs to get new clients/customer. Therefore, Christopher Wattimena
decided to attend a networking event in Jakarta and got 5 business cards from different companies
there. He then asked marketing team to store all of the contacts (see Table 1).

After following up, the sales department found 3 sales opportunities as can be seen on Table 2. In
order to win the sales opportunity, the sales department have to schedule a call with Parikh Agency
with due date on November 14th, 2017. Among all those opportunities, only Parikh Agency’s was won
by Sales team.

In order to maintain the existing customers, NEC Global’s marketing representatives need to do
campaigns. First, the marketing representatives create an exhibition event that will be held from
December 1st to 5th 2017, with the minimum target of 50 attendees. Then, they need to inform all
the customers regarding this event by set up e-mail campaign.

Not only that, there also after-sales activities that Associate Strategies’ team must do, which are
managing issues or questions from customers (see Table 3).
