SHEAR FRICTION STUDY OF PILE CAP AND SPUN PILE CONNECTION

Abstrak
Sambungan tiang pancang spun pile dan pile cap didesain dengan memasang tulangan tusuk konde (auxiliary steel bars)
yang dimasukkan ke dalam lubang spun pile dengan kedalaman tertentu. Tulangan tersebut akan di cor secara monolit
dengan pile cap. Sifat monolit antara beton cor tusuk konde dengan tiang pancang spun pile dipengaruhi oleh kekuatan
lekatan permukaan antara beton tusuk konde dengan permukaan dalam tiang pancang spun pile. Penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk memengkaji perilaku geser friksi antara permukaan beton tusuk konde dengan permukaan dalam tiang pancang
spun pile. Benda uji potongan spun pile (mutu beton K600) yang didalamnya dicor beton tusuk konde (mutu beton
K250) dibuat untuk sebagai studi awal perilaku geser friksi beton dengan pengaruh pengekangan. Benda uji sambungan
pile cap dan spun pile dibuat dengan variasi kedalaman cor tusuk konde 2000 mm dan 650 mm. Tes push-off dilakukan
untuk benda uji potongan spun pile 25 cm. Sedangkan tes pull-out dilakukan untuk benda uji sambungan pile cap dan
spun pile. Analisa secara numerik menggunakan program bantu finite element dibuat untuk mengetahui perilaku lekatan
beton tusuk konde dan dinding dalam spun pile secara numerik. Selain itu perhitungan secara analitis berdasarkan
rumusan geser friksi juga dilakukan sebagai pembanding hasil eksperimen dan pemodelan. Pengujian push-off benda uji
potongan spun pile 25 cm menunjukkan mekanisme keruntuhan geser pada permukaan antara beton tusuk konde dengan
permukaan dalam spun pile dimulai dengan peningkatan beban push-off lalu terjadi slip. Usulan tahap mekanisme
kegagalan ini terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu elastic zone, drop zone dan up zone. Dari hasil pengujian pull-out benda uji
sambungan pile cap dan spun pile menunjukkan bahwa panjang tusuk 2000 mm terlalu kuat. Hasil optimasi terhadap
kedalaman tusuk konde menunjukkan bahwa tusuk konde dengan kedalaman 40 kali diameter tulangan tusuk konde
(dalam penelitian ini kedalaman tusuk konde = 650 mm) mampu untuk digunakan sebagai penyalur gaya tarik pada
sambungan antara pile cap dan spun pile.

Abstract
Connection spun pile and pile cap pile designed by installing reinforcement auxiliary steel bars are embedded into the
spun pile with a certain depth. The reinforcement in the cast will be monolith with a pile cap. Monolithic nature of the
auxiliary steel bars cast concrete spun piles with pile affected by the bonding strength between the concrete surface with
a surface auxiliary steel bars in spun piles pile. This study aims to study sliding friction behavior between the concrete
surface with a surface auxiliary steel bars in spun piles pile. Specimen pieces of spun pile (concrete quality K600)
which also casted concrete auxiliary steel bars (K250 concrete quality) were made to the initial study of sliding friction
behavior of concrete with the influence of restraint. Besides sliding friction concrete without restraint is assessed using
dog bone specimen. Connection specimens spun pile and pile cap is made with a depth variation auxiliary steel bars cast
2000 mm and 650 mm. Push-off tests performed on test objects and pieces of spun pile dog bone specimens. While the
pull-out tests carried out to test the connection object spun pile and pile cap. Numerical analysis using the finite element
program created to help determine the behavior of concrete bonding auxiliary steel bars and spun pile wall inside
numerically. Besides analytical calculation based on sliding friction formulations also performed as a comparison of
experimental results and modeling. Push-off test specimen pieces of spun pile 25 cm showed shear failure mechanism on
the surface of the concrete surface of the auxiliary steel bars with spun pile begins with increased load and push-off slip.
Proposed stages of this failure mechanism consists of three phases, namely elastic zone, drop zone and up zone. From
the results of the pull-out test specimen connection spun pile and pile cap shows that the length of 2000 mm puncture
too strong. The optimization results indicate that the depth of auxiliary steel bars auxiliary steel bars with a depth of 40
times the diameter of the auxiliary steel bars reinforcement (in this study auxiliary steel bars depth = 650 mm) can be
used as a conduit to pull on the connection between the pile cap and spun pile.
