Part-time Proficiency Programmes - Certificate of Proficiency, Diploma & Advanced Diploma.

Eligibility Information
Entrance Qualification
A. Certificate of Proficiency in French
Class X or equivalent.
B. Diploma in French
Certificate of Proficiency in the language concerned from CIEFL with atleast a grade C (GPA 2.5). All other
candidates are required to take an Entrance Test.
C. Advanced Diploma in French
Diploma in the language concerned from CIEFL with atleast a grade C (GPA 2.5). All other candidates are
required to take an Entrance Test.

Programme Description
Based on the communicative approach, these courses enable learners to develop and improve their
language skills in listening, speaking, reading & writing and to develop their communicative competence –
oral and written – in French through intensive training sessions imparting a systematic view of French
vocabulary, grammar and usage. These courses also introduce the learner to French and Francophone
Literatures and Cultures.

Mode & Duration of these Programmes:
Non-Intensive: 160 hours spread over 2 semesters.
Intensive Mode - 160 hours spread over 1 semester.

Intensive Mode:
Registration fee : Rs. 100/-
Tuition fee : Rs.650/-
Examination fee : Rs.300/-

Non-Intensive Mode:
Registration fee : Rs. 50/- (per semester)
Tuition fee : Rs.325/- (per semester)
Examination fee : Rs.150/-(per semester)

Fee for ICCR sponsored Foreign Nationals


Rs.1050/- per programme(in case of non-intensive mode the fees should be paid at the beginning of every
semester)
Fee for Other Foreign Nationals
Rs.2100/- per programme(in case of non-intensive mode the fees should be paid at the beginning of every
semester)
