I started the counting lesson with a brief song of let’s count together song to start with

the lesson a good starting, we already organized and trained a small group to do the

movement in front of other children to encourage them to dance together and imitate the one

who knows. Then we read a story to them I was one of the main character in the story which

is the mother of the monster and Nada was the police officer we played the story to them and

they were very excited to this story ‘ where’s my baby?’ story.

Children were so involved and asking questions also answers our questions

such as how many eyes in this monster you can see? And they count together and give us the

answers sometimes it’s right and other times we let them count again together till they answer

the right answer then we mix the questions such as ask them about the colours and shapes too

that’s all was included in the Math lesson plan but the main thing was counting from 1-10 as

a review and we chose till 10 because the two classes are mixed some of them KG1 and the

other KG2 so till number 10 was perfect for both stages.

What did go right was that all of the children liked the song with the movement and

they really loved the story but the activity was just for two students one from KG1 and the

other from KG2 that’s the only thing that we thought it should be developed in the next time.
