INTRODUCTION

In order to acquire a secure Mkt share, company


can either offer their products at a low cost or try to
gain cost leadership, or differentiate their product in
order to gain a competitive edge. Product
differentiation is the process by which companies
manufacture & design products in a way that makes
customer perceive them as different from those
manufactured by other companies. Companies’
differentiate themselves from their compotators on
the basis of physical attributes of the Product,
Service, type of distribution & positioning.
Differences in Quality .Features style, price, or image
are usually the basis for differentiating the products.
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

To know what are the basic qualities should be in the


product to satisfy customer. And what are the other
ways to attract the customers.
LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY.

Due to Small Area for survey & Cost it


was not possible to in-depth study of the
objectives.
METHODOLOGY OF THE STUDY

PRIMARY DATA:

Data which is collected for the first time keeping in view


of the objective of the investigation is known as primary
data. I used the following method to collect the data.

Direct personal interview of consumers.


FACTS AND OBSERVATIONS.

I have made a survey of 100 people among them 60 people


where using Bajaj Pulsar DTS-I 8 people are using
HERO HONDA CBZ 28 people are using other brand.&
the differentiation between Bajaj Pulsar DTS-I & HERO
HONDA CBZ as follows.
