and boxing , film interpretation supervision and witness of various
NDT tests including QA/QC of field welds at M/s Saudi European
Petro Chemicals & Saudi Methanol Company at Saudi Arabia.
During 1998 and 2001

Under UNIDO Fellow Ship

Undertook Advance Pipe Line NDT training in RTD Netherlands
and Italy related to integrity checking of buried and overhead
pipe lines including intelligent pigging , crawler radiography
magnetic flux leakage etc.
Under UNDP sponsored Program
As a Faculty member to study of various preventive system
prevalent in ICI UK & Chem. Lintz Austria for implementing in
Indian Industriess.
Post retirement activities:
Overseas: Completed an assignment (2006) in Sudan as Project
Management Consultant and worked in the field of QA/QC for an international
company CNPCIS (an international Chinese construction company) at Moga and
Fula Oil Fields.
The following activities were carried out during my tenure in Sudan:
 Execution of site construction activities.
 Inspection of various construction equipments under FACT and expediting activities with
various international company in Muscat, China Sudan India etc for compliance to the PO
requirement.
 Presiding over international meetings with potential vendors
 Quality audit of vendors.
 Review of Vendor data/drawings.
 Approval of Construction Procedure.
 Review and approval of WPS/PQR.
 Review and approval of NDT procedure.
 Review of Vendor Quality Plan/inspection and test plan.
 Field inspection and review of inspection/NDT results.
 Providing clarification of specification to vendors and / or field engineer.
 Review and monitoring of inspection results.
 Co ordination and submission and close out of vendor deviation requests.
 Reviewing all inspection Non Conformance Reports and seek resolution.
 Review of all construction and quality documents/records and issuance of Mechanical
completion report
