Price Questions

You currently don’t pay Mr. Gehrts a fee every time you enter
the classroom.

Starting next week – Mr. Gehrts will be imposing a $3/day

fee to attend class. Here are your choices of paying for
class.

 Each day pay $3.

 Purchase a weekly pass in advance for $13. (Save $2 but
need to pay for the whole week in advance)
 Purchase a monthly pass before the first of the month for
$48.
 Purchase a season/semester pass for $120.

Questions to ponder:
 Which option will you choose? Why? What are
advantages and/or disadvantages to each pricing
option? The semester as you would be paying for 40
day of class and there are more than 40 day in a
semester
 If you were Mr. Gehrts, which pricing option would you
hope your students would choose? Why? Pay each
day you would make more money
 Would you associate the class as “more valuable” than
other HHS courses if you had to pay “extra” for it? Well
if we would have to pay for a marketing class the
we need a new teacher
 Would your attendance and/or effort increase as you
had to pay for this class additionally? No in fact I
would have dropped out as I had intended I don’t
 need this class as I have already completed my
credits for my elective
 Would you associate it as a “better course” than
another high school’s business course as you had
to pay “extra” for it?

