The Apostles didn’t recognize Jesus until they saw his wounds. Don’t look for God’s
presence only in the joyful moments of family life. Expect to find God in the evening of
the day, when you are exhausted and cranky or when you are most aware of your
family’s failures and shortcomings. Today’s gospel reminds us that the wounded
Christ is standing among us through the Holy Spirit, urging us to forgive and offering
us peace.
363 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. If
you treasure the fact that our doors of the church are not locked during the
daylight hours, pay close attention to the balance of this notice: Daytime
vacancies: Sunday 1-2pm, Monday 8-9am, Wednesday 10-11am and 2-3pm,
Nighttime hours: Sunday1-2am, 2-3am and a partner is needed for Friday 7-8am. Are
you trying to get to heaven as most of us are? A Holy Hour, per many priests, is a gift
to our Lord Jesus Christ (Most special to Him than any other). It will also change your
life. Ask any adorer! We are getting desperate here. Please contact Gene at 330-690-
9661 with any questions and to commit. Thank you to the following new adorers who
took that step: Carol Pettit, Roger Wolf and Bill Witwer….may God Bless you!

Thanks to all who helped make the Mother’s Day Flower sale a success. The cooperation
between the local parishes and community outreach groups make both stronger in the vital
struggle for life. A pro-life community cares, it sees Christ in others. The mandate for this pro-
life community is not to make abortion illegal, but that the Christians that inhabit it will make
abortion UNTHINKABLE, as witnessed. For more information on how YOU can participate,
contact Lynn Willig @ (330)472-9452.
