I am interested in the Recreational Therapy position you have available. I am a recent graduate at the
University of Utah in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism with an emphasis in Recreational Therapy. I am
completing my internship at Salt Lake County Adaptive Recreation and the experience has been well-
rounded so far and will continue to prepare me to be a professional.

Throughout my time at college, I had several opportunities to serve several different individuals with
disabilities. In my resume, I have listed my time with Eaton Alliance, where I helped individuals with both
physical and mental disabilities, was part of a summer camp for kids with visual impairments, and was part
of the UFIT program at the University of Utah where I helped a boy improve his social, cognitive, and
physical skills. Currently at my internship, I am helping children and young adults along the autism
spectrum.
