General Objective: To strengthen the implementation of tobacco control policies,
specifically, (1) Graphic Health Warnings Law, (2) ban on tobacco advertisement
within 100-meter perimeter of schools, playgrounds, and facilities frequented by
minors, and (3) to expose tobacco industry strategies and interference.

Specific Objectives:
 To enforce the tobacco advertisement ban.
 To raise awareness of the public of the importance of implementation of
graphic health warnings and tobacco advertisement ban.
 To test the reporting system currently in place.

To foster positive state of wellbeing in ALAGA KA communities in Quinapondan,
Eastern Samar through a community-based and managed program for the
conservation, preservation, and sustainable utilization of medicinal plants and
trees.
 Catalog all existing medicinal plants and trees in the areas within three months
from the start of the program
 Develop, implement, and evaluate a model for a community-based program
for the conservation, preservation, and sustainable utilization of medicinal
plants and trees in the Quinapondan, Eastern Samar;
 Capacitate ALAGA KA cluster
 Develop and implement a community-based activities in Quinapondan, Eastern
Samar.

Objectives

The project aims to develop the Map showing the Sacred Healing Places in the
Philippines.

Specifically, the project has the following objectives:


1. Develop the Map of all existing sacred healing places in the Philippines within
1 year

2. Distribute the developed map to the target beneficiaries of projects such as the
provincial government leaders, policy-makers, and health practitioners.
Review of Related Literature
A literature review is a text of a scholarly paper,
which includes the current knowledge including
substantive findings, as well as theoretical and
methodological contributions to a particular topic.
