I-t has been a good year. With
the resurrection of the Fulton
Hotel as the Fulton House of
Hope we are underway with our
women's rninistry. It has been a
long hard road, yet we have staff
on board and the building is
virtually cornplete. We should
occupy even as this letter is
rnailed. We still need to
landscape and fence the yard and
some furnishings are needed.

This year's fund raising celebration was wonderful

and included a silent auction which oflered a wide
variety of interesting and unique items. We are
grateful to all who donated items and to all who
were successful bidders. Everyone seemed to have
a great time in spite of a few "glitches".

We participated in the annual walk for the homeless

and fed nearly 1200 people for Thanksgiving. The
article in the Washington Post (Dec 9, 1999) testified
to the impact Gospel Rescue Ministries is making on
the District of Columbia.

We're looking forward to an exciting year 2000.
