Support Excellence in Training:

The Neurosurgery Resident Sponsorship Initiative

At the University of Michigan Department of Neurosurgery, our educational mission is to train highly
skilled neurosurgeons with a strong background in clinical care and research. To enhance our ability to
recruit and train tomorrow’s top practitioners, we have launched the Neurosurgical Resident Sponsorship
Initiative. This initiative fosters professional development and promotes leadership in the field.
