    Erasmus Mundus

    Master Course in
    Emergency and
    Critical Care Nursing
    Erasmus Mundus Master´s Degree

    1 year and half (90 ECTS credits)


    English
    Attendance required. Monday to Friday
    ( 6 ) (see table p.6)
    First semester at the University of Algarve and the Higher School of
    Enfermagem (Santarem); second semester in Oviedo or in Finland; third
    semester to be completed in any partner university
    Mandatory (12 ECTS + 18 ECTS, according to the selected track)

    This Master´s Degree has been specifically designed for graduates in Nursing
    with 3 years’ experience working in the field. Students are required a C1 level
    of English according to the European Common Framework of Reference for
    Languages.
    The Master course is delivered in Portugal, Oviedo and / or Finland, and the
    Master´s Thesis can be completed in any of the centres of the consortium or
    its partners: Universidad Sao Carlos (Brazil) and Mahidol University (Thailand).
    This course enables graduates to work in any participating country (Portugal,
    Finland and Spain) as nurses in intensive and emergency care units as well
    as in paediatric units, according to the track selected by students.
