    Protective Fuse—Shows how a fuse protects a circuit by blowing


    when too much current is allowed to flow.

    Variable resistor VR1 controls the flow of current around the


    circuit. When the resistance is too low, the increased current will
    cause the fuse will blow, stopping any further current from flowing.
