starting cooling system.
2.2.4. Motor Exhaust System: The exhaust silencer shall be per manufacturer
required. Hospital type silencer required. The silencer shall be installed at the
top of the motor chassis; the motor will not support it. The vacuum pipe
galvanized steel and it’s cover shall be supplied by the provider. The flexible
exhaust connection will be supplied as required for the interconnection between
the motor multiple exhaust and the exhaust pipe. All the exhaust system
components shall be properly dimensioned to ensure the right operation without
excessive pressure after the mounting process. The contractor shall provide the
required facilities for the contraction and expansion of the exhaust system.
2.2.5. Fuel Motor System. Provide the required incoming lines, pressure governors,
fuel filters, operations cuts, solenoids valves, vacuum lines, etc., and all the
required accessories. All the connections for the fuel motor system shall be
provided in accordance with applicable Codes and Standards.
2.2.6. The fuel storage tanks and its accessories must be new brand and shall be Class
X, with a minimum of 24 hours of operation time at the generator nominal
capacity, as indicated on the NFPA 110, chart 2-2.3. Provider must supply a low
incoming fuel sensing device on the primary line governor. The sensing device
must be adjusted for a 2 hours minimum fuel level, based on the consumption
capacity of the specified generator.
