Sold over 400 acres of industrial real estate in eight years totaling $15 million

for developing strategic plans focusing on domestic and international marketing for corporate office, industrial
manufacturing, and warehouse/distribution. Create and design project plans, parameters and strategy documents
for potential business opportunities, and new company locations, outlining key resource requirements and
timelines, including pricing and position.

land development financing and incentive programs, and developing the financial growth plan and year-end
financial statements.

Managed a $750,000 economic development and marketing budget as well as 3 staff members, working with
state-wide economic development professionals in order to recruit new business prospects and expand companies
to the state of Georgia. Responsible for the delivery of economic and community development assistance and
services to participant communities, development of marketing programs designed to reveal prospects interested
in building or relocating industrial facilities in participant communities and providing assistance in the
development of promotional and marketing materials.
Key Accomplishments:
Working partner of the Georgia Allies, a partnership between state government and private corporations that
builds on the individual initiatives of its members to create larger, more targeted programs that aggressively
promote the state’s business development efforts.
Chaired the Atlanta Red Carpet Tour for 2 years, which is held in conjunction with the Masters Golf
Tournament and is one of the state’s top economic development events, allowing guests to tour three Georgia
cities and meet with local business leaders.

Georgia Department of Economic Development 1993 - 1996

Responsible for marketing, public relations, project management, community development, and providing
development assistance to existing industries. Coordinated events to market the state to end-users, real estate
brokers, and consultants throughout the United States. Gained expertise in identifying properties throughout the

tax credits.
