FBL5N Display Customer Account

Purpose

Use this procedure to display customer accounts.

Trigger

Perform this procedure when you need to view open (unpaid) receivables for customer(s).

Prerequisites

Customer account exists.

Menu Path

Use the following menu path to begin this transaction:

Helpful Hints

 R/O/C column in tables represents Required, Optional, or Conditional entry.


 This is an accounting transaction that displays all open and/or cleared receivables for a
customer.
 In the Type category, the system defaults to Normal items . To view additional types, select
the check box for the desired type.
 The Customer Line Item Display screen has two different list views. Select the Settings
Switch list from the main menu to view the alternative list display.
 On certain screens the following functions will be available to use:
o Click to access a reporting variant.

o Click to expand the standard reporting parameter.


o Click if you want to update specific fields on more than one document.
o Click if you want to display the customer master record.
o Click If you want to filter a document out of a report.
o Click to sort the line items ascending.
o Click to sort the line items descending.

o Click to change the reporting columns (report line layout).


o Click to select a saved report line layout.
o Click to save a new report line layout.
o Click to sum a specific column.
o Click to subtotal a specific column.

Procedure
1. Start the transaction using the menu path or transaction code. The Customer Line Item Display
screen displays.

2. Click Customer account field .


Specify the customer's account number to view a single customer's account at a time, or
leave the Customer account field blank to view all customers.

3. As required, complete/review the following fields:

Customer account R
SAP code that identifies a customer. A customer is a
business partner who orders goods and services.
Example:
500015

4. Click All items .


Define the display by selecting from the Status parameters:

 Open items to view unpaid billed items


 Cleared items to view paid billed items
 All items to view both unpaid and paid billed items per customer account

The Clearing and Posting date range fields are optional selections.

5. Click Execute to view the Customer Line Item Display.


6. Select any Type field to display the Document Type help window.
The red button indicates open items, the green button indicates cleared items.

7. Click the Document Type help to display the help window.

Document Type (1) 74 Entries found

8. Click Close to exit the Document Type help window.


The Document Type help window displays descriptions for each type code. For example:

 DG = Customer credit memo


 DZ = Customer payment
 RV = Billing doc. transfer
 ZP = Payment posting

11. Select Settings Switch list from the main menu to view an alternative Customer
Line Item Display list.

12. Double-click the line item check box to display the details.

13. Click Back to return to the Customer Line Item Display screen.

14. Click Back to return to the main Customer Line ItemDisplay screen.
15. Click All items .
Leave the Customer account field blank to view all customers.

16. As required, complete/review the following fields:

Posting date R
The date a transaction is posted within the system.
Example:
07/01/2008

to R
Upper limit of the range of time covered in the report.
Example:
10/01/2008

17. Click Execute to view the Customer Line Item Display list.
18. Click Settings main menu .
Use the scroll bar/arrows to view open and cleared receivables for all customer accounts.

19. Click button .

You have displayed the customer account.
