Leveled Literacy Intervention program, Fountas and Pinnell program, as well as numerous other programs.
 Participated in developing Numeracy awareness within our school using the Scope and Sequence.
 Participated in the development, writing, and marking of the grade 6 Provincial Achievement Tests.
 Planned and executed several multi-day field studies, with the inclusion of relative fundraising events.
 Received certification and taught Hunter Education as an optional unit.
 Developed and ran an after school basketball, volleyball, and hockey program.

units in science.
 Utilized Teacher Logic to keep thorough records of assessments and communicate effectively with parents.
 Headed the organization of Girls Club, which dealt with the discussion of service, body image, friendships along
with cooperation of a large portion of the female student body.
 Assisted in the creation and continuance of an Alternative Games Club. This club provided students with unique and
alternative interests to develop friendships while playing these games with each other.
 Both of these clubs were created as a response to the school census of not enough clubs for those not interested in
physical activities.

 Collaborated with another student-teacher to instruct the Outdoor Education option.
 Taught safety procedures and practices for variety of tools and equipment used in the Workshop.
 Headed a committee for the school’s nutrition fair, which involved planning, preparation, and displaying of a variety

I grew up participating in this program as a student at Coalhurst Elementary School. It was because of my appreciation of my previous
coaches and the role models they had been for me that I continue to volunteer coach at this very school. I constantly strive to provide a
good example for the children and stand as a role model in my community. Now that I leave in Rimbey, I continue to run this program
for the students in this community.

Junior and Senior Boys Rugby

Graduating from LCI, I participated in the Rams Rugby Program for three years and earned the award of League All-Star. Wanting to
continue in my participation of the program and at the request of my former coach, I rejoined the program as the team fitness
coordinator. I planned and lead the team’s endurance and high intensity training portion of practice each day.

 Planned and directed high intensity endurance training for both Jr. and Sr. squads.
 Conducted practice with no supervision for first hour of practice until the head coach would join us.
 Lead multiple one-on-one practices with players struggling with various skills.
