QUESTION: The question of addressing online data privacy laws

The Special Political and Decolonization Committee,


Condemns the act of violating private data by an unauthorized personal.
Emphasizing that Internet is a platform where people express their concerns and thus
contains useful information for development.
Recognize that the right to be protected also extends to online platform.

1. Recognizes the global and open nature of the Internet and the rapid advancement in
information and communications technologies as a driving force in accelerating
progress toward development in its various form;

2. Affirms that the rights are also be protected both offline and online, such as but not
limited to;
a. Right to privacy
b. Freedom of expression
c. Right to peaceful assembly

3. Reaffirms the right of privacy of data for individuals;


a. Private data will be protected from unlawful interference of unauthorized
personnel by law

4. Encourages all nations to adopt the GDPR passed by European Union to protect
individual’s private data from violation by companies, such as but not limited to;
a. Social media platform
b. Webmail
c. E-commerce
d. Archive sites

5. Approves the uses of private data by authorized figures and conducted by authorized
figures, in such ways;
a. Review private informations of a suspect in crime in order to
i. Investigate crime and provide evidence in the court of law
ii. Assist in tracking down and put suspect in custody
iii. Prove a suspect innocent or guilty

6. Approves nationalization of Metadata and unidentified personal data in order, such as


but not limited to;
a. Establish and improve development plan by means of, such as but not limited
to,
i. Gaining unvoiced concerns
ii. Predicting social trends

7. Call upon all states;


a. To take measures against cooperates or companies that violate the right to data
privacy by enforce a significant amount of fines.
b. To establish prison or any other sentence against violation of private data by
unauthorized personnel
