Echo Park Lake’s 2nd Annual Fun Bird Walk

Sunday, August 13, 2006, 9:00 a.m.
Meet at Echo Park Lake Boathouse

Do You Know Your Birds?

During recent years, Echo Park Lake Birders have identified more than 60 birds that call Echo Park their home for all
or part of the year

Summer birds at the lake include Mallards, great-tailed grackles, robins, American
coots, sparrows, finches, great egrets, black-crowned night herons, green herons,
blackbirds, hawks and various gulls and doves. We will surely identify many others.

This is a fun walk, and beginning birders are encouraged to participate. Parents are
encouraged to bring their children. And it’s free! Take your binoculars, and a bird
guide, if you have one.

Please sign up by telephoning (323) 663-6767.

Or send an email to jayebea@earthlink.net.
