Key Improvements
1.2.1 Dual Photoelectric Sensors Glass Length Measurement Technology
The forced convection heating system inside both top and bottom heating chamber parts
is suitable for tempering float glass and coated glass (including all temperable hard &
soft coated glass) with high product quality. The high temperature convection fans are
made of aerospace material (super alloy) with special welding process. Its well-sealing
performance and effective thermo bridge blocking technology assure the long service life
and stability to the convection fans, which provide the stable and efficient engines to the
forced convection heating system. With well designed radiation & convection heating
system, this furnace can supply the best processing specifications (Note: with limited
production conditions): heating speed≥30s/mm, overall bow≤0.8mm/1000mm, local
bow≤0.1/300mm, fully satisfy the processing demand of super soft coated Low-E glass
and other high quality glass.
In case of a main power breakdown, the glass will be evacuated by using of UPS
Key Improvements
1.3.1 Intelligent Temperature Control Module
The heating zones are divided by 120mm per each along crosswise inside the heating
chamber, which effectively overcome the problem of glass edge overheating.
Both heating & convection units are arranged to form an inclination angle with the
longitudinal direction (glass moving direction), thus a plug-in type complementation is
formed among the heating & convection zones to stabilize the different heating between
the glass center and edges, thereby improve the uniformity of glass heating and further
alleviate the iridescence (leopard spots) of tempered glass products
1.3.4 Simple & efficient forced convection system, easy for future maintenance and
repair.
The forced convection distribution system is made of heat-resistant steel pipe for reason
of smaller pressure loss and stronger resistance against deformation.
1.3.5 Northglass high temperature convection fans are made of aerospace material
(superalloy) with special welding process. Its well-sealing performance and effective
thermo bridge blocking technology assure the long service life and stability to the
convection fans, which provide the stable and efficient engines to the forced convection
heating system.
1.3.6 More even convection air backflow with open pipes structure
Key Improvements
1.4.1 Convenient Drive Belt Replacement
Key Improvements
1.6.1 New PVC Air Duct
Key Improvements
1.7.1 New User Interface
With new user interface, all related critical parameters (for example heating power,
temperature, frequency, air pressure, blowing distance, etc.) will be displayed in a dialog
box when you point the mouse on anywhere (heating chamber, convection fans, quench
section, etc.) of furnace pattern shown on monitor. This will bring you the convenience
upon not only accurate production control but also easier machine detection,
maintenance and repair.

3. COMMERCIAL TERMS
1) Payment in time to the bank & account pointed by the Seller according to the
contract terms or the invoice.
2) Supply of electrical power and compressed air to the positions set by the Seller.
3) Provide local accommodations, catering, transportation, communication for the
Seller’s technicians while they are working at Buyer’s site for the installation
supervision and commissioning. In case of illness or accident of Seller’s staff, the
Buyer will take all the necessary steps to look after them or if necessary get them
into the hospital. In either case the Buyer will advise immediately the Seller. In case
of extreme seriousness the Seller will organize the repatriation and replacement of
the person involved. The total cost involved will be paid by the Seller’s staff or
eventually advanced by the Buyer who will be reimbursed afterwards by the Seller.
4) Supply the relevant materials and manpower needed for the installation and the
acceptance test of the machinery (permanently 2 qualified workers, if required up
to 4 workers for handling heavy items, welding equipment, grinding machine, drill
and other electric hand tools, 10 ton crane or 35 ton auto-crane, 1 fork lift (5 ton)
with ropes etc.
5) When the equipment arrives in the Buyer’s site, the Buyer should guarantee that all
the conditions are fulfilled and supplies are available so that the installation and
commissioning will be possible to carry out in time. If causing a delay from this time
limit, the Buyer has to pay USD200,- per working day exceeding this period to
Seller’s technicians. In order to secure a trouble-free installation supervision and
secure that the site is ready for starting of erection, the Buyer will inform the Seller
latest 2 weeks before the technicians will start working with installation supervision
of the equipment (erection release date).
4. Others
1. The “Guarantee Period” mentioned in the contract means 12 months from the
date of signature of the acceptance protocol or 7 days after starting commercial
production. The equipment is guaranteed against all material and structural
defects for 12 months, based on 8 working hours per workday, including the free
replacement of defective parts. Assembly must be done by the Buyer, provided it
is a simple matter. In the case of a serious failure, the repair will be done by the
Seller. Not included in the guarantee are eventual damages caused by broken
glass or mishandling nor damage occurring during transport of material supplier
free under guarantee. In case of defectiveness the Seller will engage to undertake
everything to remedy this as quick as possible
2. A contract comes into existence after signing of both parts, and come into force
upon receipt of the down payment from the Buyer.
3. All the penalty terms do not apply in the case of force majeure. (war, earthquake,
fire, flood, sabotage etc.)
