RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS

1. THIS ADMIT CARD MUST BE BROUGHT TO THE TEST CENTRE WITHOUT WHICH NO CANDIDATE
WILL BE ALLOWED ENTRY TO THE TEST CENTRE.
2. This Admit Card does not constitute an offer of admission.
3. You are provisionally permitted to appear for written test as per the schedule given on Page-1.
4. Gate of the test centre shall be closed 30 minutes before the commencement of test after which no
candidate shall be permitted entry under any circumstances.
5. You must bring any valid Original photo ID proof for verification, such as (i) Voter ID Card, (ii) PAN Card,
(iii) Driving License, (iv) Student ID issued by current school/ college (v) Passport (vi) Aadhar Card, etc.
to the test centre.
6. Candidates without valid Original ID proof will not be permitted for the test.
(Photocopy/Digital Copy is not valid).
7. Candidates must bring Blue or Black Ball Point Pen, Pencils-2B, Eraser, Sharpener.
8. Candidates should note that the items listed below are strictly NOT allowed inside the test centre
campus:
Mobile Phone, Bag, Handbag, Water Bottle, Papers, notes, books, calculator, electronic
gadgets, correction marker/white fluid, etc.
It is clarified that there shall be no arrangements at the test Centres for keeping the aforesaid
items. If any item is lost at the test Centre, FTII and SRFTI will not be responsible for such
loss. Candidates are, therefore, advised either not to carry the aforementioned items with
them on the date of the test or to make their own arrangements for keeping such items in safe
custody at their sole risk.
Any candidate found using or to be in possession of such unauthorized material or indulging in copying or
adopting unfair means is liable to be summarily disqualified.
9. Possessing any electronic device/communication device such as mobile phone/bluetooth by the candidate
inside the test center campus before completion of the test will be considered as attempting to take or
send the Question Booklets and Answer Sheets in full or in part outside the test room. Appropriate civil
and/or criminal proceedings will be initiated against any candidate taking or attempting to take or send
the Question Booklets and Answer Sheets in full or in part outside the test room besides cancellation of
his/her candidature.
10. There will be NO Negative Marking for marking wrong answers.
11. Candidates MUST NOT carry the question booklets and answer sheets or any part thereof outside the test
room. Doing so is a punishable offence.
12. No candidate will be allowed to leave the test room before the end of test.
13. The candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills all the eligibility conditions for admission to the test. The
admission at all stages of the test for which he/she is admitted will be purely provisional subject to
his/her satisfying the eligibility conditions. If on verification at any time before or after the Written test
and/or subsequent stages of test for which he/she is admitted it is found that the candidate does not
fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, his/her candidature shall stand cancelled without any notice or
further reference.
14. Request for change of test centre and date will not be entertained at any stage.
15. Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature.
16. Discrepancies, if any, regarding your particulars in this admit card can be emailed at
jet2018@applyadmission.net at least 7 days prior to the written test.
17. Candidates must track the JET website: www. applyadmission.net/jet2018 and website of
participating institutes for updates. The participating institutes will not be responsible for any
non-receipt of intimation to a candidate.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING IN THE OMR ANSWER SHEET

Answer sheets are scanned by machine to compute the scores. Accuracy in scoring is dependent on the
candidates marking their answer sheets properly. Therefore, accurate scoring is dependent on your strict
adherence to the following instructions:

On Side 2 of OMR answer sheet fill in your Roll No., Application No. and Booklet Series (as mentioned in
question booklet) in the relevant places and darken the corresponding oval.
Every question has four answer options. Mark the answer option number chosen by darkening the
corresponding oval on the answer sheet USING BALL POINT PEN (BLUE/BLACK) ONLY.
Darkening of more than one oval or improper darkening will be treated as incorrect answer leading to
award of ZERO marks for that question. The candidate will be solely liable for this. No communication in
this regard shall be entertained.
The correct method of darkening the oval has been indicated in "Important Instructions" on Side-1 of the
Answer Sheet and that must be strictly followed.
Do not tear, bend or mutilate the Answer Sheet.
