Springs, and Melody Lane are closed for the season.
If you camped in Fogey, Wilder, or Melody prior to
September 22nd, you may stay on your site until
further notice; however, we are not allowing anyone
else in these campgrounds at this time.
Lonesome Pines campground will close for the
season on October 15th.

If you have a site in the new compound and
you want your trailer pulled in/out by the
Ranch, please make sure to notify the gate of
your site number.

The cabins in Trailer Row are now available
to rent for $85.00 a night per cabin. Call
today to reserve a cabin for your stay.

Horseback Riding
Horseback riding will be available on Saturdays
and Sundays. There will be 3- one hour rides
and their times are as follows:
8:00a.m.
9:30a.m.
11:00a.m.
The rides cost $10.00 per person and you must
sign up at the Trading Post at least one hour
before your scheduled ride. You must wear long
pants and closed-toed shoes or you will not be
allowed to ride.
Free pony rides will be offered in between
horseback riding for kids (ages 2 to 8).

2nd Annual Overnight Trail Ride
When: Columbus Day weekend
Saturday, October 9th thru Sunday, October
10th
Be at the stables Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
The Sunday ride will start around 9:00 a.m.
Cost: $100.00 per person- Approx 4 hrs
riding each day.
$50.00 per person if you bring your own
horse.
Included: The Ranch furnishes the horses,
tack, guides, breakfast, and dinner.
Not included: You furnish a tent, bedding,
snacks, and a drink.
The ride is limited to 12 available horses so
call the office at 417-284-7321 to book your
spot. A $50.00 deposit is required and is
refundable up to the weekend before the ride
if you choose not to go.
Mail Notice
The office will no longer hold
anyone’s mail starting Monday,
September 20th. All mail of
persons on the ranch will either
be placed in assigned box or for
those without a box it will be
sent to the Trading Post. All
persons not residing on the
Ranch need to make other
arrangements for his or her mail, otherwise
it will be returned.

the togetherness. If you don’t know

Conservation Committee
There will be a Conservation Committee meeting
Tuesday September 28th at 1 p.m. in the Clubhouse
Patio Room. All members are invited to attend.
NAME A CAMPGROUND ROAD
Update on signs:
The signs are being installed and there are still
some more yet to name. Each campground has a
theme and the road name you choose must fit
that theme. Contact Cheryll, Fern or Zaylor in
the Ranch Office or email to
reservations@cloud9ranchclub.com. You will
be notified if your submission has been approved
and at that time the payment of $25.00 per entry
will be due. Your entry is not official until funds
are received. The following is the theme for each
campground and the number of roads left to
name:
Hill Country – Mountain Ranges
Powder Mill – Indian Chiefs
Wilder Springs – Animals (ALL NAMED)
Lonesome Pines– Birds
Fogey Hollow – Bands/Groups/Miscellaneous

Riders Club. Labor Day
weekend was another successful holiday weekend
for the Ranch Riders Club and members of Cloud 9
Ranch.

The 50/50 drawing is at approximately ¾ of the
goal of $1,200.00. The drawing will be held
Columbus Day weekend after the poker run. If the
50/50 drawing is less than $1,200.00, the winner
will receive ½ of the money.
