of the typical plant set-up of RMC Readymix (India) include:
Fully automated plant with computerised control on the entire

independent bins for the storage of different sizes of fine and coarse

Over years, RMC Readymix (India) has developed an in-depth expertise in the sphere of concrete technology and has

In the recent past, demand of some leading customers of the Company in certain markets has shifted from routine
concrete mixes to concretes of higher grades and having special performance characteristics. RMC Readymix (India)
possesses adequate expertise to produce and deliver such concretes. After conducting extensive laboratory and field
trials the Company has developed and produced the following special concretes:
High strength
concretes
(HSC)
Self-compacting concrete produced in one of the plants of the Company being placed in
position
(HVFAC)
Self
compacting
concrete
(SCC).
Concrete grades of M50, M60, and M70 are now being produced satisfactorily from some of the Company’s plants. In
addition, the Company has successfully demonstrated its capability of producing high-performance concretes with
differing performance characteristics such as high-early strength, high flowability, stringent durability characteristics
satisfying the specified water and chloride permeability properties, etc.
At some locations, the Company has produced and delivered high-volume fly ash concrete (HVFAC), having around 50%
replacement of ordinary Portland cement by fly ash. Further, the latest development in concrete technology, i.e. self-
compacting concrete, has also been mastered by the Company’s technologists.
Aggregate
Besides producing ready-mixed concrete, RMC Readymix (India) also ventured in to Aggregates Quarrying and
Processing business. With a modest beginning made in October 2000, the Company has established a total of mix
aggregate crushing and processing facilities. All these facilities not only cater to the demand of the growing ready-mixed
concrete business of the Company but also to the aggregate needs of a number of construction firms and contractors.
For producing quality products, RMC Readymix (India) employs state-of-the-art crushing and processing technology.
Depending upon the parent rock and the market requirements, a combination of different types of crushers are employed.
The hi-tech crushing and processing plants are procured from world-renowned manufactures. The Company ensures that
the systems in operation are the best in the business, capable of producing the right quality materials in the most cost-
effective manner. Besides, the Company employs trained staff having vast experience in handling these equipments and
producing quality products. It applies stringent process control norms to ensure that quality products are delivered to
customers.
