May 2016 – June Student Observer, Educational Placement
2016 · Observed and assisted a teacher at Lindon-Mckinly STEM academy. Spent
time helping students and working as an assistant teacher. Worked on
developing a classroom management plan taught lessons to 7th grade
students.

Aug 2016 – Dec Student Teacher, Educational Placement

2016 · Partnered with a mentor teacher and student taught at Timble Middle
School. Created and delivered several lessons that covered state standards.
Further refined my classroom management plan and practiced co-teaching
with another student teacher.

LEADERSHIP
I lead a Service Learning project that partnered Athens High Schoolers and
the Plains Gardening Club. I met with representatives from the Gardening
club and organized students into groups that went out and helped beautify
the community.
