I would like to express my deep interest in a position as a lab assistant for your gastrointestinal
research lab.

My interest towards digestive system can be traced back to my biology class where I learned
about Crohn's​ disease​. I was so shocked at how inflammation of the digestive tract can trigger
this type of disease; furthermore, I want to learn more in depth of how genetics, and the immune
system would result in epithelial wound healing.

Your passion and will towards your research has sparked a light in my academic life, seeing how
you are making a difference within the science community of inflammation and immunology has

As a STAR student, I have learned about sterile techniques, tissue culture, electrophoresis,
pipetting techniques and etc.I have become a skilled lab assistant thanks to the help of Mrs.
