The Jewish Relief Agency distributes food one time every month. The dates of distribution for the
rest of the year are July 12, August 9, September 20, October 18, November 15, and December 20.
JRA makes deliveries to recipients who live all over the five county Philadelphia area and northern
Delaware. Serves incomes up to 150% of the Federal Poverty Line.

Applicants must be a resident of the Souderton Area School District. For first time visits bring valid
proof of ID, proof of residency, and proof of income. Eligible participants can receive food once per
month. Some items available are: pre-packed bags such as frozen and canned meats, canned
vegetables and fruits, soup, cereal, pasta, sauce all recommended by the USDA.

Households may shop in the food pantry twice a month, selecting fresh, canned and boxed food
goods. Food pantry services are available to anyone living within the North Penn School District,
with the exception of Hatfield and North Wales borough due to existing food cupboards in these
municipalities.

initial intake. Following the initial visit, The Open Link requests that families call 24-hours in

they must provide 1. Proof of residency in Pottstown (lease, mortgage, utility bill) 2. Photo ID for
everyone in the household 18 years or older. 3. A birth certificate for any household member 17
years of age or younger (or official proof of the minor’s residency in the home).
