Re: Downtown Whitby Community Improvement Plan

You are receiving this notice with respect to the Downtown Whitby Community
Improvement Plan, as you may have attended one of the two Community Meetings or
the Public Meeting and had signed the ‘Interested Party Listing’ or had submitted
correspondence requesting further notice.

Please be advised that we will now be bringing forward the recommendation report for
the Downtown Whitby Community Improvement Plan to the Planning and Development
Committee on June 11, 2018 in the Council Chambers of the Whitby Municipal Building,
575 Rossland Road East. The Planning and Development Committee meeting begins
at 7:00 p.m., and the matter could be heard at any time thereafter.

Should you wish to speak to Committee regarding the Community Improvement Plan,
please submit your Delegation Request Form to the Office of the Town Clerk, in person
to the Clerk’s department; by email: clerk@whitby.ca or, by mail to Office of Town Clerk,
575 Rossland Road East, Whitby, L1N 2M8. In accordance with the Town’s Procedure
By-law, up to 5 minutes will be provided to individuals to comment on the application.

The Delegation Request Form is available on the Town’s website at


www.whitby.ca/delegation and at the Clerks Department. The deadline for submission
of this form is 10:00 am, on the day of the meeting.

A copy of the Planning and Development Committee agenda and staff report will be
available on the Town’s website at www.whitby.ca/civicweb and for viewing at Central
Branch (405 Dundas Street West) of the Whitby Public Library the week prior to the
above meeting date.
