INSITE™ Marimba Install

Important information:

Required INSITE CD-ROM Kit 3886388 can be ordered through Gannett at

http://cummins1.gdmswebstore.com or call 1-800-646-5609

INSITE software will be installed in the D:\INTELECT\INSITE folder.

1 Close all open applications.

Insert the INSITE installation CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. The CD-ROM Autorun menu
2 may display briefly after the CD-ROM is inserted. The Autorun menu will be turned off by
Marimba.

3 Select the desired language to install.

4 Select Install from CD-ROM and follow the prompts throughout the installation.

After INSITE is successfully installed, click OK to return to Windows. Open the Cummins
6 INSITE icon on the Windows desktop to start INSITE.

When INSITE opens for the first time, the Registration Required window will be displayed
for the registration Password entry.
Cummins Distributor locations will need to contact their INSITE support representative for
registration passwords. Cummins, Inc locations will need to contact Electronic Service Tools
Engineering to obtain this password. The PC ID will be required, which is displayed in this
window.
7 Enter the “Basic” functionality level password into the spaces provided, and then click OK to
open INSITE with read-only access.
To gain additional functionality, Add the functionality level password for Pro, Industrial Pro,
Lite, or RSGR in INSITE by selecting Security in the Tools -> Options menu. This
functionality password will be provided at the same time the Basic password is given.

If Install INSITE later is chosen, a prompt for installation will be displayed on the next

calendar day that you logon to this computer.
