Lift Cylinders (Angle Bulldozer)

Remove And Install Lift Cylinders (Angle Bulldozer)

Make sure the machine is on level ground. Stop the engine, and move
the control lever to make sure the weight of the bulldozer blade is on the
ground. Move the control lever backward and forward to release the
pressure in the hydraulic system. Slowly loosen the cap to release any
pressure in the hydraulic tank. Let the hydraulic oil become cool before
any lines are disconnected in the hydraulic system.

1. Disconnect two hose assemblies (1) from the lift cylinder.

2. Fasten a hoist to lift cylinder (2) as shown.

3. Remove the bolt, retainer (4) and pin (3) from each end of the cylinder. Remove the cylinder from the
machine. The weight of the lift cylinder is 46 kg (101 lb.).

NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the lift cylinder.

4. Fasten a hoist to the cylinder (2). Put the lift cylinder in position, and install pins (3) on each end of the
cylinder.

5. Install retainers (4) and the bolts to hold the pins in position.

6. Connect two hose assemblies (1) to the lift cylinder.
