DESCRIPTION OF COMPANY

Tu Hoa textile Co., Ltd is a private, small-sized company established in the early

of 2005. The service the company provided comes in wide variety:

• Import of raw fiber, dyes, chemicals, machinery and garment industry.

• Exports of fabrics

The company headquarter was settled in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province. After

more than 4 years in the market, Tu Hoa has achieved its reputation in the local area and

planned to spread the business further to Ho Chi Minh city, the place that has been

known for its rapid grown in garment industry.

 I. SUMMARY OF THE INTERNSHIP

My internship started in 26th June 2010. This is a 12-week internship. I worked in

the IT team of Tu Hoa company. During these 12 weeks, I was implemented The

Advance Email System for TuHoa Company.

In details, I was trained with the background knowledge of building email system:

how to install a basic qmail server on a computer, how qmail works and how qmail filters

spam email.

I was trained in school some basic knowledge about software development. I had

some basic knowledge about the analysis phase of a software project. But this internship

brought me a whole new experience because it provided me with a real work

environment with real customers, real obstacles, real deadlines, real pressure. I consider it

the most useful period I’ve ever had during 4 years of university.

 II. INTERNSHIP ACHIEVEMENTS

This internship has obviously given me the chance to revise old my knowledge in

school, provided me with new skill in IT. After 12 weeks of hard work, I have gain how

to implement advance email system. This gives me the confidence to start my career after

my graduation. I am glad to have such an opportunity to intern in TuHoa Company.

 III. INTERNSHIP ASSESSMENT

This 12-week internship is the most useful experience I have ever had. After 12

weeks of learning, working in real environment, I have gained a lot of skill in

communicating, real work experience, the responsibility in team working.

Having a chance to intern at Tu Hoa company also gave me a chance to revise all

the knowledge I have studied in school. These 12 weeks in the real work environment

brought me real experience, real obstacles, real pressure. Those are what school cannot

provide
