105. Cultivates productive working relationships.

I believe that it is important to cultivate a productive working relationship in the

workplace to increase the productive edge of the employees. Relationships within
the workplace and external relationships as well should be nurtured to foster
cooperation and future opportunities.

I have skills that will culminate a productive working relationship and in turn create a
productive environment. I believe that communication, guidance, mentorship,
leadership and prioritization are salient to foster productive working relationships. I
happen to possess all of these traits owing to my experience working at (Company A)
as a (Position Title) and also having completed formal training in communication,
leadership and management.

(Company) was a very forward thinking and cutting edge organisation that
encouraged participation mentorship programs and coaching conferences, that
helped to improve our working relationships. I learned from this that by supporting,
training and motivating employees, productive work relationships are created. I have
been able to take the skills that I learned in here into my current role, described
below.

As a Manager for (Company) I am able to communicate actively, provide and receive

feedback with key people and members of my team,. Some of my key achievements
since commencing in this role are:
 Improved rate of staff retention by 39%;
 Improved communication flow in the company by building key communication
channels into standard operating procedures;
 Created regular boot camps and team building activities for the team members
 Identified deficiencies in team relationships and organised interpersonal skills
training for staff members;

I also believe in treating my colleagues and clients with respect and courtesy
regardless of their position or stature. I think that by valuing and supporting them I
will be creating a productive relationship whereby they can find a friend rather than
a mere workmate with whom they can relate with and share their challenges.
