SiCH Coating - Development Product

SiCH Coating can be apploed onto all types of crucibles by brushing and is then fired to ensure a good
bond. The coating can be used to increase the erosion resistance of crucibles when using Borax and
Soda fluxes

PREHEATING/FIRST USE
SiCH Coating does not impact or change in any way
the installation or startup / heating procedures for the
crucible in which it has been applied.

APPLICATION
SiCH Coating is applied by brushing and firing.

TECHNICAL DATA
Primary material: Micronised SiC with a Resin bider
Maximum temperature: 1600o C

WHEN TO USE
SiCH Coating can be used when better erosion resis-
tance is required when using Borax and Soda fluxes.
