Vivian: - Hello what are you doing?

Brenda: - I have just finished lunch, have you already studied for the
test?

Vivian: - I have studied for two hours in the night but i have not
studied the last topic yet, and you?

Brenda: - Yes, i have already studied since last week, can we study
today?

Vivian: - Of course, today in the afternoon, have you bought the

book?, i have not bought my book yet.

Brenda: - Yes, i have bougth the book. See you, good bye.

Vivian: - Good bye.

ACTIVITY 2– individual work (10 points)

 Penicillin was discovered by Alexander Fleming in 1928 and it is

important because its discovery served to save many people from
death.
 Cars are important because they allow us to transport ourselves
faster, the first car was created by Karl Benz.
 The first calculator was invented by William Oughtred who called it
a calculation rule, this device is important because it allows us to
perfom mathematical calculations quickly.
 The cell phone was invented by Martin Cooper, the cell phone is
important because it allows us to comunicate with people any where
in the world.
 Machu Picchu was discovered by Hiriam Bingham in 1911 and is
important because it generates tourism in the country.
Buenos días profesora y compañeros de clase, el día de hoy les hablaré sobre
una entrevista realizada por Radio Disney Latinoamérica a Sofía Carson, quien
interpreta a Evie en la película de Disney Channel: Descendientes.
La primera pregunta que le hicieron fue:
¿te imaginabas que descendientes sería un éxito tan grande?
Sofía dijo que todos pueden soñar con ser parte de un proyecto como
descendientes y que todo el público lo ame, y por los resultados ella y todos
estaban felices y muy agradecidos con el público.
La segunda pregunta fue:
¿Cómo se sintió cuando le dijeron que había sido seleccionada para
interpretar a Evie?
Sofía dijo que cuando la llamaron para darle la noticia ella estaba yendo a
recoger a su mamá y a su hermana al aeropuerto y no lo podía creer porque ella
no era tan conocida, entonces lloró hasta que llegó al aeropuerto y escribió en
un papel: obtuve el papel. Su mamá y su hermana no entendían entonces ella
les explicó y se quedaron en silencio, y luego su hermana le dijo: tu cara estará
en las loncheras de los niños y todas se rieron y abrazaron.
Y la última pregunta fue sobre su carrera musical, le preguntaron:
¿Cómo describiría su disco?
Sofía dijo que su disco era pop rítmico porque ella quería que las personas bailen
cuando escuchen su música.

Good morning teacher and classmates, today I will talk about an interview
conducted by Radio Disney Latin America with Sofia Carson, who plays Evie in
the Disney Channel movie: Descendants.

The first question they asked him was:

Did you imagine that descendants would have great success?
Sofia said that everyone could dream of being part of a project as descendants
and that all the public love him, and for the results, she and everyone were happy
and grateful to the public.

The second question was:

How did you feel when they told you that they had selected you to play
Evie?
Sofia said that when they called her to tell her the news she was going to pick up
her mother and her sister at the airport and she could not believe it because she
was not so well known, so she cried until she arrived at the airport and wrote on
a paper: I got the rol . Her mother and sister did not understand then she
explained to them, then they were silent for a moment, and her sister said: your
face will be in the children's lunch boxes and they all laughed.

And the last question was about his musical career, they asked him:
How would you describe your disc?
Sofia said her disc was rhythmic pop because she wanted people to dance when
they listen to her music.
