DUE DATE : April 19th, 2018
Choose one of the following projects to create a dream home for yourself. If money were no object,
what would your house look like? What would you buy for your house? Would you have a pool? What
would the exterior look like? Would there be google home in every room and have self-cleaning
properties?

For each project you must:

 Show and name in French the different rooms
 Have a minimum of 10 labeled spaces in the house (en français)
- Such as; bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom, attic, computer room/ office, maybe
have themed rooms, a gym – BE CREATIVE
 Have a minimum of five furniture items in each room (labeled en français)
- Pour exemple; table, blender, toilet, bed, lamp etc…
 Students will have to write a sentence for every room. You need to use full sentences and
incorporate verbs like: aller, avoir, etre, devoir, faire, mettre, etc…

You may choose from these three projects:

1) Create a poster:
- Using computer images or hand drawn images
- The above criteria must be able to fulfilled within the poster
- If you choose to do this project you need to write your sentences about each room on a
separate sheet of paper AND MUST HAVE TWO SENTENCES – not just one (typed
preferably) and attach it to the bottom of your poster
- You will present it to me using the sentences you have created (this will be one on one
and done in class during other activities)

2) Create a power point or other computer-based application (CANVA is amazing – ask me

about it  )
- You will present in front of the class and share your presentation
- You be assessed on speaking and the content on the slides/ presentation
- If you choose to do a slide show, each room needs a French title and should be on a
different slide/ page
- Every furnishing must be labeled

3) Make a video (it can be of your own home or ask someone’s permission to do it of their house)
and video each room:
- Student must say the name of each room/outside are in French and must record their one
sentence for each room
- You must say at least five of the furnishings/appliances in the room
- You can either discuss what is in your house you are doing a video of or explain what you
will put in it to make it your dream house.
- This video will be shown to the class. You will need to give a short introduction to the
video (this can be in English)
